On Finslerian Hypersurfaces Given by β-Changes

In 1984 C.Shibata has dealt with a change of Finsler metric which is called a β-change of metric [12]. For a β-change of Finsler metric, the differential oneform β play very important roles. In 1985 M.Matsumoto studied the theory of Finslerian hypersurfaces [6]. In there various types of Finslerian hypersurfaces are treated and they are called a hyperplane of the 1st kind, a hyperplane of the 2...

Plural Processes, Patterned Connections

Plural globalizations refer to large-scale processes occurring today at an accelerated pace (due to information and communication technologies) and with extremely uneven effects (due to continuing and new inequalities). Conventional analytical and disciplinary frameworks can neither make adequate sense of, nor effectively politicize, these developments. The quantitatively large scales and quali...

On the Rheonomic Finslerian Mechanical Systems

In this paper it will be studied the dynamical system of a rheonomic Finslerian mechanical system, whose evolution curves are given, on the phase space TM×R, by Lagrange equations. Then one can associate to the considered mechanical system a vector field S on TM ×R, which is called the canonical semispray. All geometric objects of the rheonomic Finslerian mechanical system one can be derived fr...

Finslerian N -spinor algebra

New mathematical objects called Finslerian N-spinors are discussed. The Finslerian N-spinor algebra is developed. It is found that Finslerian N-spinors are associated with an N-dimensional flat Finslerian space. A generalization of the epimorphism SL(2,C) → O↑+(1, 3) to a case of the group SL(N,C) is constructed.
